Centaur no Nayami is not at all what I expected. I went into it expecting monster girls going to high school, and that’s about it.
Instead I got a series with some of the most fascinating world-building I’ve ever seen in anime. Like, the author actually took the time to explain why everyone is some kind of mythological creature and has clearly defined subsets of them all.
It’s also monster girls going to high school in one of the most adorable slice of life series I’ve ever seen.
