Wild theory time: Zero Two isn’t just a straight clone of the Klaxosaur Princess, nor is she an in vitro child of her and Dr. Franxx. I’m guessing that she actually has some of Karina’s DNA mixed in as Dr. Franxx’s way of granting her wish of having a child even though she’s been long dead.
