Fun fact: the SMT trailer in the Nintendo Switch stream had Mara in it
that means that in an official Nintendo presentation, there was a giant penis chariot on screen
I’ve had nearly 24 hours to process everything in the Switch presentation, and I know I said last night that I was tentative about getting it day one, but after going through everything again and seeing all the stuff they’ve announced today I’ve been totally sold on the system.
Launch day is a little light, but really, Zelda is all I need for day one. But luckily, there are tons of games to look forward to from launch all the way to the end of the year. ARMS, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey all look amazing.
Based on all of that, I feel like it would be best to be on the ground floor of this thing hence why I decided to go ahead and pre-order the system today. I’m really excited for the Switch and I can’t wait to get my hands on it in March.
Calamity Ganon may be the most terrifying version of Ganon I’ve ever seen.
Honestly, the thing I’m looking forward to the most with the Switch is the fact that I’ll have a full-fledged 3D Zelda on the go. I love all the handheld 2D Zelda games (Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks, Link Between Worlds) more than I can explain in a short post, but the fact that I’ll be able to play the newest and biggest Zelda yet anywhere I want to is extremely exciting.
