I noticed that Mikoto bears an uncanny resemblance to Metis Cykes from Ace Attorney. The more I thought about it, I kinda realized they had similar roles, too. They were both mothers to important characters and their deaths were vital to moving the plot along. Now I can’t help but wonder if they were a few Ace Attorney fans on the designers’ team…
