I love these overdramatic losers

Alright, so I’m about a hundred chapters into part 2 of Bleach, and the way I see it, the main problem with it isn’t that the writing is bad (it’s not stellar, but that’s another issue) it’s the fact that Kubo is bringing up questions that didn’t need to be asked, such as “what is the actual deal with the Quincies?” “is there some secret about Ichigo’s mom?” “remember the Reiokyu? I wonder what goes on up there?”
Like, they aren’t bad questions or uninteresting topics, it’s just that, why are you bringing it up now when you had no reason to in the first place? I dunno, I’m sure I’ll have more to say about it as I get further into the arc.
The fact that Squad Zero’s existence is mostly out of nowhere and kind of frustrating from a story-telling perspective, I still really like them.

NO BREAD FOR THE NON-BELIEVER
@tachipaws I’ve just gotten to the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, and I have a feeling the entire story is about to fly off the rails.

Chika: Hey Riko
Riko: Yes

Chika: Three mermaids
This is what most of the fandom wonders to be quite honest.
I’m like 20-odd chapters into the new arc, and like, it’s not bad by any means, it just feels really…small compared to the Hueco Mundo and Fake Karakura arcs. It also doesn’t help that I don’t even know what the point of it all is. Well, that’s not entirely true, it’s more just a really long-winded way of giving Ichigo his Shinigami powers back.

Someone please help this doofus
