As it turns out, it’s actually a idol simulator with a horse racing mechanic. Think of it as if it’s Love Live, but the girls are anthropomorphic horse girls.
And ice-skating, for some reason.
That video is actually a promotional animation for the game that is currently in development (which explains why that video has such high quality animation)

I have never watched Nichijou beyond seeing gifs and other stuff from it on my dash on occasion, but I feel comfortable in saying that Jitsu wa Watashi wa has a similar vibe of absurdity
