Alright. I’m just gonna say it: Some tragic twist happens at the end of Darling in the Franxx. I know damn well with animes like this that something heartwrenching is gonna happen.

Two months ago, that idea wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities, but the end of the last episode was so overwhelmingly optimistic that anything else would be a giant waste of time and completely ruin the entire theme of the series and everything that Hiro and Zero Two has done up to this point

When i saw the transformation, i was subjugated and it melted me from inside ⁽⁽٩(๑˃̶͈̀ ᗨ ˂̶͈́)۶⁾⁾ almost like a dad watching a daughter getting married lol

I just finished watching a 3 hour analysis series of Nier Automata, and it reaffirms why it’s one of my absolute favorite games of 2017

And also reminded me that Yoko Taro is a mad genius and one of my favorite game directors of all time

Hiro has pretty clearly completed his transition into being a Klaxo hybrid because A) his very prominent blue horns and B) he has the same ring around his pupil as Zero Two does

I dunno if it’s intentional or not, but his character design feels a lot more complete now with the horns and eyes
