I’m not going to give names but, for the USUAL people that always complains about everything as a hobby and the people that were genuinely confused regarding the Amour-canon scene yesterday:
Miryokuna (魅力な) doesn’t in fact mean beautiful but more commonly means charming.
I mean it could probably be translated into both words because depending on the contextual words it CAN mean both but yeah, in cases like these, using one or another word will make a huge difference won’t it? (take note fansubbers).
Ash saying Yeah! to it is just Ash being Ash, not getting the clue, more of a “…… that sounds great!!… I think o3o…”, he probably thought Serena was referring to her own charm and appeal as a performer and stuff (and tbh maybe it DID have a cue for double interpretation).
Ash has already shown this tendency during all this season, to show a supportive tone and face every time Serena says something even if he doesn’t completely get what she’s talking about, he will assert her enthusiasm no matter what.
One of the reasons I love this ship so much in fact is this thing where Ash kinda realized he’s a bit slow to understand what people say sometimes and he will put extra effort into making Serena feel confident bout the decisions she takes.
