what do you think of bleach’s ending when it compared to naruto’s?

The thing you gotta keep in mind about the two is that Kishimoto was able to finish Naruto on his own terms. He decided how he wanted to resolve the final conflict, give closure for the big players in the story, and he followed through with that plan. Was it perfect? Hardly. It still had some holes and some things weren’t explained as well as they could’ve been, but it was a mostly satisfying ending.

Now then, Bleach. Bleach did not have a natural ending. Bleach was cancelled, and Kubo only had enough time to wrap up the main conflict and a little closure to a handful of characters. Yes, we saw a lot of them in these two epilogue chapters, but we don’t really know what they’re doing now. This isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy the ending, because I did, it’s just that there very clearly could’ve been a lot more to it.

That said, even if Kubo had more time to get to the ending, there’s no guarantee it would’ve been vastly better. The story had been deteriorating a lot over the last 100 or so chapters (if you ask me, it really started to go bad when Yhwach invaded the Soul King’s Palace and all the villains suddenly had absurdly stupid and powerful abilities.)

In conclusion, Naruto had a much better ending than Bleach.

The fact that you also ship Rizumo means that I made the right decision in following you. I don’t read the manga anymore, but I still support the rizumo pairing. I’m a bit curious, but why do you ship Rin with Izumo and not Shiemi?

tbh I stopped reading the manga awhile ago. I think by that point I had just gotten off of re-reading Bakuman, so I was kind of burned out at that point (I was in the middle of the arc where they go to Kyoto when I stopped)

As for why I like Rizumo more, a few reasons I guess. The early interactions between the two were just really enjoyable and great (the whole shirt thing and then when she sat next to him on the train). Admittedly, a big part of it is because Izumo is my favorite character (anything fox themed immediately has my undying love).

I think about this scene sometimes and it makes me happy every time.

I’m glad you don’t hate Erina. Everyone seems to hate her because of her being antagonistic towards Soma, which in my opinion isn’t even as bad as they make it out to be.

Like, she was clearly set up to be a rival/motivation for him from the very beginning. The one shot is literally entirely about that rivalry. She’s not meant to be super friendly and supportive from the get go (which is a role that was later filled by the Polar Star dorm).

Besides, based on what I’ve read about later in the story, Soma and Erina’s relationship becomes a lot less antagonistic and evolves into a much more friendly rivalry (more similar to the one between Soma and Takumi, but without one of them being an awkward nerd)
