So Vah Ruta was the first dungeon I got to, and when I got there, I had the vain hope that Mipha was still alive in a similar way that Zelda was after 100 years (in a kind of stasis while keeping Ganon’s power contained) but alas, my hopes were dashed and I’m still sad about it.

Link must have spent a lot of time with the Zora’s as a child. Specially to be childhood friends with the zora princess Mipha. (Zora daycare comfirmed?)
