Modern hirotwo teo headcanon: Hiro owns a motercycle and it’s name is strelitzia. He takes zero two on it before and after school, and zero two will put cute stickers on it once in a while and Hiro doesn’t mind

I love this, especially the bit about Zero Two putting stickers on it, but consider this as well:

They buy a run down motorcycle together and spend the next couple years repairing it before going on a summer road trip together.

So I’m hard at work on the big dinokid post, but I figured I’d give a peek and tell you the names I’ve come up. I’ve got names for all of them except for the triplets

The oldest is Hitotsume AKA the Klaxosaur Princess reborn

The first set of twins are girls named Jian and Xian

The second set of twins are boys named Hayato and Sora

And then the youngest is a girl named Tsubasa

A lot of people like to think Hiro would be the “chill, responsible” parent but we’re all forgetting homeboy was a mini-Kamina at, like, 8. He’d teach his kids to make grapple hooks with grass strands and egg shells just in case of necessity, I’m sure. Combined with the sweet tooth they probably got from Zero Two, Futoshi’s bakery isn’t a safe place for tarts anymore

I wouldn’t exactly say Hiro is teaching them crazy stuff like that (because honestly, they’d figure it out on their own), but I definitely do see him as being the “fun” parent. Zero Two surprisingly takes to the role of being the rule-setter…which isn’t to say she doesn’t have moments of being the “fun” one. For one thing, she is absolutely the favorite aunt among the rest of the Squad 13 kids. They all agree she’s the most fun.

But with her own children, they all know she’s the boss and when it is and isn’t okay to goof around. If they’re scattered about, she’ll whistle once for dinner, and all of them will be back in the house in minutes. And on the flipside, she’s always the first one any of them go to if they’re upset and need comfort.

Also, yes, no pastry is safe if any of the HiroTwo kids around. They will get it, and you cannot stop them.

So it’s not uncommon in the HiroTwo household for cuddle piles to happen. More often than not, they’re started by one of the kids finding Hiro napping somewhere and then deciding “this is an excellent place to nap”. As time passes, the rest of the kids (and Zero Two eventually) show up and come to the same conclusion.

Basically, Hiro is a giant bed for his family and has resigned himself to not being able to move for awhile if he takes a nap anywhere near them.

HiroTwo Wedding

So in honor of it being one week since the final episode, I figured I’d write up some hcs I had for Hiro and Zero Two’s wedding. I like to think that despite having quite literally the biggest wedding in the universe, the rest of Squad 13 would insist on Hiro and Zero Two having a wedding back on Earth.

This, uh, this really got out of control, but I’m really pleased with it. Thanks again to @tachipaws for sharing ideas and letting me just spout nonsense to work some of these out.

  • Mitsuru and Kokoro would be the biggest advocate of it considering it was Hiro and Zero Two’s idea for them to get married originally.
  • Mitsuru makes their wedding rings for them, and it leads to him being the first jeweler in the new society
    • They would cut off a piece of their horns and have it set in their wedding bands (which is later a tradition they pass down to their children)
  • Ichigo settles into being the coordinator like it’s the most natural thing in the world
    • She takes it very seriously because it’s for two of her best friends in the world, but also because it’s going to be the first wedding the rest of the Parasites are ever going to see, so she wants it to make an impact
  • Ichigo has basically been planning since the moment they left, and the really amazing thing is that she managed to keep it a secret from the others…except for Goro because he knows her too well
  • At some point, while digging through Dr Franxx’s files, Hachi and Nana discover more reference material about weddings, and they pass it on to Ichigo where she learns about the concept of the wedding party
  • When Zero Two finds out about the wedding party, she immediately picks Ichigo to be her maid of honor. Meanwhile, Hiro has Goro be his best man.
  • The ceremony itself was originally planned to be a relatively simple one, but once word gets about it to the rest of the Parasites, suddenly everyone wants to be involved in some way.
  • In the end, the ceremony ends up being this incredibly grand affair because all of the Parasites end up being invited to the wedding
  • There are just strelitzias everywhere. If there’s a flower placement, you can be assured that strelitzia’s are the centerpiece, and they’re all accompanied by flowers of green, purple, pink, and blue to represent the other Franxx.
  • Zero Two’s dress is actually a recreation of Strelizia True Apus’ armor, which was put together as a collective effort of the girls of Squad 13. She ends up having a strelitzia pinned in her hair as well as having a bouquet of them.
  • The entire ceremony is a remarkably quick experience, not that Hiro and Zero Two would’ve noticed otherwise since the moment they see each other, they become completely engrossed in each other
  • Hachi officiates the whole thing, while Ai and the reborn Hitotsume are the flower girls
  • By the end of it all, the two of them can barely keep themselves off of each other, so once Hachi gives them the go ahead, Zero Two practically jumps Hiro as she kisses him
  • Another thing is that as soon as they see each other, their horns start faintly glowing, so much so that no one really notices it at first, but they start glowing more and more as time passes, so by the end, their horns are shining with brilliant red and blue light
  • After they kiss, they touch their horns together and are able to feel the overflowing love and dedication they have for each other and start crying tears of joy. They also inadvertently start a new wedding tradition that all future couples follow; after the kiss, the couple always touch their foreheads together.

A certain person who resembles myself, but around 70 years of age and is one of the elder godmothers, accidentally dragged into the wedding reception of Hiro and Zero Two and suddenly asks, “What do you think is your most memorable moment for you two?”

If you were to ask them that, they’d probably both say the moment they met. They were two kids without any purpose of their own, fighting against a world that didn’t care about them. But when they met, they had finally found another person who was fighting just as hard as they were against the world that denied them everything they wanted, and from that day on, they lived for each other.
