Hiro met with Zero Two, as she was out with their first born, she was telling the little baby about the old days, under the cherry tree.

While I was completely and totally fine with the ending we got, I still have a handful of headcanons for the kind of life Hiro and Zero Two would have had if they hadn’t died and had come home, and I’m gonna put out a post with them probably tomorrow
Honestly, one of the most wonderful things about the ending is the fact that Zero Two now has a family. After all the pain and loneliness she suffered in her first life, she has people in her life to worry about and take care of her.
And on top of it all, she still gets to have the sheer joy of meeting and falling in love with her Darling all over again
