For evagelion, it’s been YEARS that fans fight for whom is best waifu and compare Hiro to shinji and say ” Hiro sucks he’s a whinny ass bitch emo kid” dude LITERALLY escaped his room without anyone knowing, broke zero two out without any of the adults knowing , suffered hits on the head and he’s still alive!

I haven’t watched all of NGE (I couldn’t really get into it), but Hiro is basically the anit-Shinji in every conceivable way.

“No matter what he does, he can’t file them down to a reasonable length since they grow back almost immediately” that part right there got me thinking, imagine him desperately trying to get them to normal length but no matter how many tools they use it doesn’t work , like for an example goro tries a small power saw to crop hiro’s horns a bit but it breaks?

I was more thinking that they just grow too fast that it isn’t worth even trying to file them, but the idea of Goro vainly trying to use like a belt sander or something to file his horns is stuck in my head, and I can’t stop laughing. 

alternate ending when they get back to earth, zero two helps hiro file his horns down a little since he doesn’t want to frighten anyone with how long they are. Hiro is good at cooking, while zero two is great at baking (futoshi taught her and gave her a job at his bakery). Once in a while hiro leaves with goro to explore the land to find useful resources and zero two amd ichigo stay behind and learn to sow and knit from kokoro to make clothes for their future babies.

These are all excellent things and I love them all. Anything that involves Zero Two interacting with the rest of the Squad is a good thing.

Though I’d like to add that as they get older, their horns grow at a rate that it’s difficult to keep them at a reasonable length, so they just let them grow out.
