Like all jokes aside, D.Va is a ridiculously brave young girl and extremely smart and I love her so much??

-She speaks two languages (maybe more) and understands a lot about different cultures. Hell she reads Mei’s blog, which is all about science and her adventures.

-She doesnt take anyones shit. When other members on the team make fun of her for being young, she’s ready to prove she’s not just some kid and will fight.

-She became one of the top gamers in the word due to her intelligence and tactical knowledge and quick reflexes.

-She left her home to go to war and fight for what she believes in. She stands for her people and her country. She puts her life on the line. Hell when you pocket her as Mercy her first line is “Stay behind me! I’ll protect you!” She cares so much and wants to protect everyone around her.

-She knows how to pilot a freakin mec! Like?? That shit can’t be easy! And they have people in those mecs because they needed someone with quick thinking and relfexes that can figure out their surroundings and get a battle plan in a fucking nano second.

-She doesnt give up. She keeps going. Sometimes when she’s knocked out of her suit she’ll comment on not giving up, and how she wont lose to anyone.

-“I’m too young to die!!”

Like I love gremlin D.Va, but I also love her character and lore. Yes its really silly. But the bottom line is, she is a 19 year old girl that left home to join the army and protect her people because she knew she could with her knowlege and ability to think quick in stressed situations and I almost cant blame her for making game puns. Trying to find some joy in the chaos her lives is now.
