The game itself is kind of supplementary to the story of Overwatch

I have a question @godzillanon @sorin or whoever has an answer. How come Overwatch has a bunch of heros but they all fight each other? Like, there’s no story mode or anything.

I know there’s a name for it but I don’t remember what it’s called..

Everything in the game itself is considered non-canon to the story itself. As of now, the only canon we have is through the animated shorts, various comics, and the bios for the characters themselves.

In reality, there are like three distinct factions. The Overwatch agents, Talon, and the people who aren’t associated with either.
